Pastor Barry S. Washington was born in Wake County, North Carolina.  He attended and graduated from the Wake County School System before moving to Winston-Salem, North Carolina with his mother, Juliette Baldwin and his sister Shawn Washington.

Pastor Washington attended Winston-Salem State University and Shaw University, where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.  He, also, received a Master’s Degree of Theology Studies from Vision International University.  He received his certification of ordination from Calvary Baptist Church of Fayetteville, North Carolina on December 26, 1998.

Pastor Barry Washington is senior pastor, along with his wife, Pastor Camilla F. Washington, of Whole Man Ministries.  Whole Man Ministries is the fruition of the vision given to him by GOD in 2000.  The ministry’s focus is on the whole man – spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally.

He served as co-pastor at Lula Street Church of GOD for over a year before hearing the call to start Whole Man Ministries.  Under the direction of Holy Spirit and leadership – Whole Man Ministries has established a food pantry (feeding over 7,000 families), clothes closet, Van Ministry, Reaching Beyond the Walls ministry, Prison/Jail Ministry, Men and Women Under Authority Ministries, Butterfly (Women) Ministry, Healing Prayer Ministry, Men and Women Conferences, and much more.

Pastor Barry has been called and gifted by GOD to minister to those who are lost, bound, hurting and seeking the truth.   His first passion is being a prayer warrior for GOD!   His favorite Scriptures are Romans 8:28 and Joshua 1:8.

Pastor Barry also has a passion for people regardless of membership.  He has an anointing to encourage and minister to people who are in prisons spiritually, physically or mentally.  To empower men to assume their GOD-given place, he started an annual men conference called “Son’s of Thunder” and "Knights At The King’s Table”.  He is an excellent WORD teacher.  GOD has so gifted him with the Gift of Teaching that he can break the WORD of Life so a child can understand.   He teaches "The Men Under Authority" class to enable and empower men to understand the importance to submitting to GOD and becomimg the spiritual leader in their home.

Pastor Barry, along with his wife, co-hosted "Reaching Beyond the Walls" which was seen twice monthly on Total Christian Television (TCT) network and has appeared may times on Ask the Pastor Program.  He served as a volunteer phone prayer counselor at TCT before becoming a member of “Ask The Pastor” broadcasts which is a popular ministering broadcast of the TCT network shown all over the world.   He is also a recipient of The Heritage Registry of Who's Who 2011.

He is the author of the book First Fruits: God's Plan For Your Success.  

Most of all Pastor Barry Washington is a humble and powerful man of GOD who is willing to go the distance to make the difference in a person’s life to the Glory of GOD.
